Perhaps you are looking for something different whilst you are in Mui Ne, then why not come around for a few hours and join our cooking class and market tour. A fun way of learning to cook Vietnamese food set in our beautiful beach surrounding!
Our cooking class normally starts at 9am and finishes at 12.30pm. Or you can book in for the afternoon class and start at 1.30pm and finish around 4pm.
The morning class starts off with a tour around local market not far from our school in which we take you in a taxi. Our Vietnamese chef Thuy, will give you a tour around the market and introduce you to the market people, the tasty Vietnamese dishes, to the fresh local fruits, vegetables and lots more.
After the market tour you will return to the school and start cooking. You will make around 5 different dishes with its accompanying sauces. You will start off with the famous beef noodle soup, which is very popular in Vietnam. Then you continue making the following dishes; seafood salad in half a pine apple, mui ne pancakes with sweet and sour sauce, crispy pork springrolls with peanut sauce, vietnamese fruit drink, coconut shake. And you will finish with the fruits of the day. Each person will have their own cookery utensils and will be thought how to cook using vietnamese pots and pans. (note! if anyone is vegetarian or doesn't like a certain ingredient, please let us know and we can change this no problem!) Also remember, between each dish you will be having a break to eat and enjoy each dish and chat to other people in the class, so make sure you haven't eaten too much before starting the class!!!
Once the class is over you will receive the menu via email, so you can practise and make your dishes at home for your family and friends.
